CNBLUE expressed their concerns regarding the invasion of privacy by certain fans, often referred to as "sasaeng fans". Through the Weverse platform on October 21, 2025, CNBLUE released an official statement regarding the notification regarding the protection of the members' privacy.
In the statement, FNC Entertainment stated that there have been recent cases of fans visiting the band members' private residences. "These actions not only violate the artists' privacy but also disturb the comfort of local residents," the agency wrote.
They asked fans to refrain from visiting or gathering at CNBLUE's private locations, such as offices, residences, salons, and nearby locations such as convenience stores, cafes, or parking areas near the buildings.
"We urge fans to respect the artists' privacy in order to foster a healthy and mature fan culture," the statement continued. The agency also emphasized the importance of fans' active cooperation in protecting artists' privacy and fostering a positive fan culture.
They concluded their statement by expressing gratitude for CNBLUE's continued support. This year, CNBLUE celebrated their 15th debut anniversary. Throughout 2024, the band successfully toured cities like Macau, Taipei, Bangkok, and Malaysia, and expanded their reach with a similarly successful North American tour.
