Junho is facing mixed reactions from fans over his lack of activity on the paid communication app Bubble, with some accusing him of neglecting responsibilities toward paying subscribers.

Bubble, a subscription-based platform, charges about 4,500 KRW per month for fans to receive messages directly from artists. Younger actors like Moon Sang Min and Kim Jae Won post almost daily, while stars such as Lee Dong Wook, Lee Jong Suk, and Lee Sang Yi stay active as well.

Junho, however, has barely posted since late August—his last update reportedly coming on October 18, 2025. Fans have voiced frustration, saying, “Even if you’re busy, sending one or two lines a day isn’t that hard,” and “The longer his career goes on, the less he communicates.”

Others added, “If it’s a paid service, he should show more responsibility.” Ironically, Junho is currently earning praise for his performance in tvN’s Typhoon Family, which premiered October 11, 2025.

While his acting has been lauded, fans note the contrast between his on-screen dedication and his silence off-screen—especially as many actors use fan apps to share updates or promote new work.

Industry voices also weighed in, saying, “With paid subscriptions, artists have a duty to communicate at least minimally,” and “If fans are paying, interaction is part of the deal.” Another fan remarked, “Celebrities only exist thanks to fans’ love.

Consistent communication, even if it feels like work, is professionalism.” Still, some defended the singer-actor, arguing he deserves privacy and downtime. “His schedule is packed—keeping up with posts isn’t easy,” one supporter said.

“Besides, he treats fans well in person.” Others added, “These days, one wrong word online can cause controversy. Maybe he’s just being cautious. Paid or not, communication should be a choice, not an obligation.”
