South Korean singer and actor Kwon Hyun Bin will begin his mandatory military service on November 24, 2025. This announcement was made one month before his departure by his agency on Friday, October 24, 2025, Ghost Studio announced he would be serving in the Marine Corps starting next month.
“Actor Kwon Hyun Bin will be serving at the Marine Corps Training Center on November 24, 2025 and after completing the training period, he will begin his military service,” said Ghost Studio.
"Because this is a private event with many soldiers and their families, we will not be holding any formal events on the day of his departure. We ask for your understanding," they explained.
"We thank you for all the love you have given actor Kwon Hyun Bin and we ask that you support him until the day he returns from the military and completes his service," he said. Kwon Hyun Bin began his career as a model. He rose to fame after competing on the second season of Produce 101.
