Lee Yi Kyung's agency has denied allegations that the actor frequently exchanged vulgar messages with a woman. The Korean drama star, Marry My Husband, was accused of sending photos of his private parts and asking sensual questions.
On Monday (October 20, 2025), a woman shared screenshots of her conversation with Lee Yi Kyung via Instagram DM. One of Lee Yi Kyung's messages read, "Jennie, I'm going to ask some Korean men to rape you."
Lee Yi Kyung also explained that the men in question were his friends. There are also screenshots showing Lee Yi Kyung asking the woman what her bra size is, "Cup D?" and sending her a link to a "BDSM Test" to determine her sexual preferences.
Following the heated controversy, Lee Yi Kyung, through his agency, Sangyoung Entertainment, issued an official statement. The agency representative confirmed that the circulating screenshots of his conversation with a woman were false.
Sangyoung Entertainment is ready to take legal action against the woman spreading rumors about Lee Yi Kyung. This includes not only the woman who claims to be Lee Yi Kyung's victim, but also the person who spread the post.
"Regarding the posts circulating on online communities and social media, we are preparing legal action against the spread of false information and malicious rumors. Given the seriousness of the situation, we will assess the immediate impact of the false rumors and take appropriate action as necessary," Sangyoung Entertainment stated.
Despite deleting her first post, the German woman made another post to expose more "evidence." She admitted to being shocked by Lee Yi Kyung's agency's response and netizens' suspicions that she intended to extort money from the actor.
"Since everyone is clamoring to see the evidence, here is a screen recording video. This is a message from his official Instagram account," said the woman who claims to be Lee Yi Kyung's victim.
