South Korean actor Jang Dong Joo recently became the focus of public attention after making a mysterious post on his Instagram account. In a post on Friday (October 31, 2025), the actor simply wrote "Sorry" before suddenly disappearing.
The mysterious post and subsequent disappearance have left fans feeling anxious. Many are worried that Jang Dong Joo will take extreme action, as the actor has reportedly been uncontactable since the mysterious post.
After four hours without any news, NEXUS E&M, the actor's agency, released an official statement. They revealed that Jang Dong Joo had been unreachable for a while, but his whereabouts were eventually discovered.
"We have located Jang Dong Joo's whereabouts and we have confirmed that it is not a serious situation. We apologize for any concerns this may have caused," read the official statement from NEXUS E&M.
Although Jang Dong Joo is safe, there is no further explanation as to why the actor posted a mysterious apology message on his social media. The post has since been deleted.
Meanwhile, a source said that Jang Dong Joo had contacted his parents since Thursday October 30, 2025 to inform them that he would be returning home, but he never arrived and was therefore difficult to contact. He has now been found and confirmed safe after his mysterious messages worried fans.
