South Korean actor, Yeo Jin Goo will begin his mandatory military service in December 2025. The Hotel del Luna star will serve in the Korean Augmentation to the United States Army (KATUSA). There, Yeo Jin Goo will serve for 18 months, starting December 15, 2025.
"Actor Yeo Jin Goo has been selected for KATUSA (Korean Army Augmentation to the United States Army) and will serve for approximately 18 months starting Monday, December 15," Yeo Jin Goo's agency said on Monday November 3, 2025.
The specific location and time of Yeo Jin Goo's military enlistment will not be revealed by the agency to minimize fan attendance. " Because the enlistment ceremony at the training center is an event attended by many military personnel and their families, we will not be disclosing the specific location or time.
We respectfully ask that you refrain from visiting the location on that day, " agency explained. Previously last October, Yeo Jin Goo personally announced his military enlistment plans by sharing a handwritten letter to fans. He wrote the letter during his 20th-anniversary debut Asian fan meeting tour titled Blank Space.
