Jung Chanwoo or iKON's Chan, officially completed his mandatory military service and returned to meet fans on November 26, 2025. On the same day, Chanwoo uploaded a photo on his personal social media account showing the various awards he received during his military service as well as a pile of letters from fans.
In the photo, awards such as the Army Exemplary Soldier Charter, appointment letters, and various other award certificates can be seen neatly arranged. Chanwoo, who enlisted on May 27, 2024, and completed his military service on November 26, 2025, shared his thoughts after his discharge.
"Finally, my military life is over," he wrote. "While I was there, I met many good people and had a great time. I feel strong because of the support from iKONIC (iKON's fandom). Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who prayed for me and supported me so I could return home healthy."
Meanwhile, three other iKON members, Bobby, Song Yunhyeong (Song), and Kim Donghyuk (DK), are currently serving in the military. Kim Jinhwan, Koo Junhoe, and Jung Chanwoo have already completed their military service.
