In celebration of Kim Soo Hyun's 19th debut anniversary, his international fans teamed up with major fashion brand, BENCH, to donate 3,800 outfits to children in need across South Korea.
On July 24, 2026, the child welfare organization ChildFund Korea announced that 'BENCH x Kim Soo Hyun Korea & Global Fan Union' had donated 1,900 sets of clothing, each containing a children's t-shirt and a hat.
Initially, Kim Soo Hyun's fan union prepared 1,000 sets of clothing to celebrate this special occasion. However, the brand BENCH, which recently renewed its contract with Kim Soo Hyun, also contributed by donating an additional 900 sets of clothing to support the project.
ChildFund Korea ensures that these clothes will be distributed to children from low-income families in South Korea, so they can be ready to wear new clothes for the upcoming season.
A representative from 'BENCH x Kim Soo Hyun Korea & Global Fan Union' stated, "It is very meaningful to be able to provide practical support to children in need while celebrating Kim Soo Hyun's 19th debut anniversary.
We hope this donation will help them grow up warmly and healthily." As a token of appreciation, ChildFund Korea expressed its gratitude to fans for their kindness and committed to continuing to help children in need.
