After 14 years under WM Entertainment, the group B1A4 announced their separation from the agency, marking the end of the exclusive contract between the two parties. B1A4, who has been active as a trio consisting of CNU, Sandeul, and Gongchan since 2018, has been part of WM Entertainment since their debut.

The agency stated that this decision was made after in-depth discussions with the members, and both parties agreed to terminate the exclusive contracts. In an official statement, WM Entertainment expressed its gratitude to the fans who have loved and supported B1A4.

"We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the B1A4 members who have been with us for 14 years based on a foundation of trust," the statement read. Despite the expiration of their exclusive contract, WM Entertainment reaffirmed their commitment to continue supporting B1A4 in the future.

The agency promised to provide maximum support so the group can develop further in their new home. Furthermore, WM Entertainment will collaborate with B1A4 to create synergy, including through RBW Japan, which will support their overseas activities and maintain collaborative relationships.

The full statement from WM Entertainment emphasized that their relationship with B1A4 goes beyond just artist and agency. "B1A4 are not only artists representing WM Entertainment, but also trusted partners who have been with us for 14 long years.

We, all employees of WM Entertainment, will offer our prayers and support for the future endeavors of the B1A4 members so that they can face new challenges and realize their abilities wholeheartedly," the statement added.

The agency also asked the public to continue to pay attention and give warm support to B1A4's future activities. B1A4 debuted in 2011 and is known for hits like "Beautiful Target" and "What's Happening?" As a trio, they continue to be active in music, variety shows, and solo projects.
