The spy action film 'HUMINT' has just released its first stills featuring South Korean actor Park Jeong Min in his lead role. The actor's appearance immediately stole attention with a sharp yet sensitive gaze that had never been shown before.
'HUMINT' is a spy action genre film that tells the story of a fierce conflict between South Korean and North Korean intelligence agents as they both investigate criminal activities in the border region of Vladivostok, Russia.
Directed by Ryoo Seung Wan, this film stars a number of top actors such as Jo In Sung, Park Jeong Min, Park Hae Joon, and Shin Sae Kyeong. Park Jeong Min plays Park Geon, a section chief at North Korea's Ministry of State Security.
This character is known for his cool-headed judgment and quick, decisive actions, which have led to his success in various missions. However, after a chance encounter with Chae Sun Hwa (played by Shin Sae Kyeong), cracks begin to appear in Park Geon's once-solid heart.
In newly released stills, Park Jeong Min exudes a mysterious and intense aura as Park Geon, who is on a mission in Vladivostok. His sharp yet sensitive gaze has viewers increasingly curious about the transformation of this actor, known for always exceeding expectations. Park Jeong Min himself expressed his enthusiasm for the project.
"This is a genre I've loved since I was little, but deep down I always thought I'd never get the chance to star in a film like this. I was surprised by the casting offer, and after reading the script, I thought it would be very challenging—but definitely fun," he said.
The film 'HUMINT' is scheduled to be released in South Korean cinemas on February 11, 2026, coinciding with the Lunar New Year holiday period which is usually a golden moment for blockbuster films.
