NCT's Doyoung donated 100 million won to the Korea Foundation for Suicide Prevention. He donated to support military personnel in preventing suicide and the bereaved families of deceased members. The foundation announced the donation, adding a statement from Doyoung.

The NCT member is currently serving his mandatory military service. “One of the things I often tell fans is ‘Tomorrow will be happier than today,” said NCT’s Doyoung. "Although there are many times when one day feels hard, I believe that ultimately, tomorrow will change you in a happier and warmer direction than today.

I hope this donation shows my support for you, and I hope it gives everyone the strength to find courage," he continued. This donation will be given to prevention programs for military personnel who are fighting for their lives and the families of those who have ended their lives.

Foundation Chairman Jung Yoon Soon also said, “Doyoung’s contribution and sincerity will be a lifeline for those on the brink of despair.” Currently, Doyoung is serving as a military soldier since December 8, 2025. Previously, Doyoung also made a donation to celebrate his birthday on January 30, 2026.

Despite his mandatory military service, Doyoung's voice can be heard in several works. Doyoung participated in the soundtracks for the series "Boyfriend on Demand" and the Korean drama " Filling for Love," starring his brother, actor Gong Myung.
