SEVENTEEN's Dino will be making his solo debut with an alter-ego named Picheolin. PLEDIS Entertainment, their agency, announced the news along with new photos of their artist.
On Monday, May 11, 2026, PLEDIS announced that under the name Picheolin, Dino will release his first mini-album titled “ Board ” on August 3, 2026. The album’s title means “gilboard” and combines the character “Board” which means good fortune.
The word “BOARD” is used as Picheolin's return to transforming the streets into a stage that anyone can enjoy. For SEVENTEEN fans, Picheolin is no stranger. Picheolin was Dino's first appearance at SEVENTEEN's VCR fan meeting in 2021.
Picheolin's positive impression makes his presence constantly anticipated at SEVENTEEN's various activities. In SEVENTEEN's world, Picheolin is the head of the BOMG agency and a very energetic producer who livens up the atmosphere.
On the same day, the agency released Picheolin's first promotional video in which Dino appears in traditional clothing and conducts an interview with the concept of a '90s television show.
The six-minute video ends with Picheolin appearing to solve the problem and looking enthusiastically into the camera. The first teaser photos also show Picheolin wearing thick glasses.
Dino is the first SEVENTEEN member to make a solo debut, while previously they had formed many sub-units, bringing together two or three members.
This marked his first activity since completing his world tour with SEVENTEEN in several countries. Picheolin or Dino SEVENTEEN's album "吉BOARD " will be released on August 3, 2026.
