South Korean actress Song Hye Kyo has terminated her contract with her agency, UAA (United Artists Agency), after 14 years. The agency announced this news as its final statement regarding the actress.

On Friday, June 26, 2026, UAA announced, “Our exclusive contract with Song Hye Kyo recently expired. After trusting and working together for a long time, UAA and Song Hye Kyo have decided to end our journey here and support each other’s future.”

The opportunity was also used to appreciate the actress who has carved out some of her best works with the agency. “During her time at UAA, actress Song Hye Kyo received great love not only in Korea but also across Asia and the world,” her agency said.

"The time we spent together will be cherished as happy memories. We ask fans to show their support and love for Song Hye Kyo as she embarks on a new beginning," UAA concluded. 

Song Hye Kyo joined UAA in 2012 and starred in a number of hit  Korean dramas ranging from That Winter That Wind Blows, Descendants of the Sun, Encounter, Now We're Breaking Up , and The Glory.

He has also starred in several international films and achieved worldwide popularity thanks to his projects and acting. He is currently preparing for his latest series, Tantara , which marks his latest collaboration with writer Noh Hee Kyung.

Tantara also stars Gong Yoo, Seolhyun, Cha Seung Won, and Honey Lee. The series follows the struggles of people working in the entertainment industry in the 1960s to achieve their dreams.
