EXO's Doh Kyung Soo is reportedly considering a new drama project titled "We Are the Zombie." Korean media outlet Sports DongA reports that Doh Kyung Soo has received an offer to star in the comedy drama, which is wrapped in a heartwarming story.
In response to the news, a representative from his agency, Blitzway Entertainment, issued a statement to Newsen, stating that "We Are the Zombie" is one of the projects the actor is currently considering.
This drama, adapted from a popular webtoon, is set in a large shopping mall that has been shut down due to the spread of a mysterious virus. Unlike typical action-packed zombie stories, this story focuses more on the lives of the survivors trapped inside the mall.
Through their daily lives, the drama explores themes of recovery, hope, and human connection. If accepted, Doh Kyung Soo will play Kim In Jong, a man who accidentally becomes involved in a zombie incident while visiting a shopping mall with his friends.
Kim In Jong is described as someone who has worked various part-time jobs to make ends meet. Although known for his dislike of troublesome work, he has a warm personality with an unexpected charm.
Previously, Doh Kyung Soo successfully stole the spotlight with his performance as the antagonist Ahn Yo Han in the Disney+ original drama "The Manipulated." Currently, he is also appearing in the latest tvN variety program "GBRB: Farm Operation."
Furthermore, last June, Doh Kyung Soo also confirmed that he would be returning as a solo singer with a new release this coming August 2026. Fans are now waiting to find out whether Doh Kyung Soo will join the drama project "We Are the Zombie".
