The Suunto’s latest wrist-worn gadget might have a larger audience than before. The company’s confirmed the first smartwatch offered, its first Wear OS watch, and a watch that attempts to make Google’s smartwatch operating system.

The smartwatch called the suunto 7, it’s a multisport watch which offers offline outdoor maps, GPS tracking, an altimeter heart rate sensors, sleep tracker, and (70-plus).

The exercise modes you’d expect from a Garmin-style fitness watch.

There are also the standard of Google’s Wear OS which includes access to Google Assistant, Google Fit, Google Maps directions, Google’s catalog of apps and watchfaces, and also being able to tap to pay with Google Pay.


The smartwatch uses the same Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 chip as other recent WearOS devices, with a 50mm (1.97-in) face and a body that’s over a half-inch thick and also water resistant up to 50 meters. The Suunto 7 works with Android™ and iOS phones.

The Latest smartwatch of Suunto has a decent-sized battery for a Wear OS watch can handle up to 48 hours of battery life, or 12 hours in GPS tracking mode, or roughly two days of "daily use"

The smartwatch will launch in the US on January 31st with the priced of $479 pre-orders online launch on January 6th. Available in five color variants: Black Lime, White Burgundy, Black, Graphite Copper and Sandstone Rosegold.
