Kapamilya Channel or 'Family Channel', (stylized as Kapamilya Channel) is a Philippine Pay Television Network operated and owned by ABS-CBN Corporation. The television network began broadcast on June 13, 2020 at 5:30 a.m via cable and satellite TV.
Kapamilya Channel network was set up as an interim replacement of the main terrestrial ABS-CBN television network after stopping its free-to-air broadcast operations on May 5, 2020, as ordered by the Philippines "National Telecommunications Commission" abbreviated as (NTC) due to the lapsing of its legislative franchise.
The network is seen via selected most member cable operators and satellite providers that are members of the Philippine Cable Television Association abbreviated as (PCTA) nationwide, including Sky Cable and Sky Direct.
Kapamilya Channel will be available from June 13, 2020 on SKY CABLE (Channel 08 on SD, Channel 167 on HD), Cablelink (Channel 08), G Sat (Channel 02). The network also streams live and makes most of its shows available on the streaming service iWant.
