Park Ji Hoon is drawing attention online after a heartwarming story about his off-screen kindness began circulating on social media. On March 17, 2026, the director of a dermatology clinic shared a photo with the actor on social media along with a personal story praising Park Ji Hoon’s character.
“Park Ji Hoon, who made many of us fall for King Danjong through the film, visited our clinic shortly before the movie’s release and returned about a month later as a 10-million actor,” the doctor wrote.
The clinic director explained that Park Ji Hoon and his manager occasionally visit for treatment. However, a few months ago the clinic adjusted its pricing due to internal marketing changes, which unexpectedly increased the cost. According to the post, the managers were caught off guard by the higher price.
When Park Ji Hoon later learned about the situation, he paid not only for his own treatment but also covered the managers’ medical bills. “He quietly paid for all of the managers’ treatment costs as well,” the post read.
“Even now, he still stops by with them whenever he has time.” The doctor added that the gesture felt especially meaningful. “With stories of conflict between celebrities and their staff often making headlines these days, this felt incredibly warm and human.”
Meanwhile, Park Ji Hoon recently joined the ranks of Korea’s “10-million-viewer actors” with his film debut The King’s Warden, directed by Jang Hang Jun. Since opening on February 4, 2026, the historical drama has drawn more than 13.6 million moviegoers as of March 17, 2026.
