Nokia 1.4 has been announced officially as the latest affordable Android Go edition smartphone and comes as a successor to the Nokia 1.3 from last year. 

Nokia 1.4 specifications include Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 SoC, up to 64GB expandable storage, Android 10 (Go Edition) phone, 5MP selfie snapper, and a 6.51-inch HD+ display. The phone has a dedicated button on the left, presumably to trigger Google Assistant. 

Nokia 1.4 sports a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD display with 1,600 x 720 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 Mobile Platform paired with Adreno 308 GPU. 

It comes in three models: 1GB/16GB, 1GB/32GB, and 3GB RAM and 64GB storage that is further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. It runs on Android 10 (Go Edition) but is upgradable to Android 11 (Go Edition). Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and microUSB port.

Nokia 1.4 has dual sensors at the back, with an 8MP primary sensor and a 2MP macro lens and LED flash. The handset features a 5MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. There is a physical rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. A 4,000mAh battery with standard 5W charging support is said to fuel the phone. It measures  166.42 × 76.72 × 8.7mm and weighs 178 grams.

The Nokia 1.4 price starts at $99 (around Rs 7,200) for the 1GB + 16GB storage model. It comes in Fjord, Charcoal, and Dusk colours and will roll out globally starting today. However, the company is yet to announce the prices of other models.
