BLACKPINK's Lisa has been confirmed for her next film project. Netflix announced that Lisa will star in a new romantic comedy. The plot hasn't been announced yet, but the story will be inspired by Nothing Hill, the 1999 film starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. 

This classic film tells the story of the relationship between a bookstore owner and a famous actress. The film, starring Lisa, is written by Katie Silberman, the writer behind Set It Up and Booksmart . The director is not yet known. Likewise with Lisa's co-star who has not been announced by the platform. 

Lisa marked her acting debut through the series The White Lotus season three as Mook which aired in 2025. Then, she was confirmed to star in the film Tygo alongside Ma Dong Seok and Lee Jin Wook. Production, reportedly taking place in Indonesia, marks her latest acting project.

 Not only that, Lisa is also preparing a documentary about herself with director Sue Kim and Sony Music Vision. This news came as Lisa recently completed her world tour with BLACKPINK in Hong Kong. They will release their new album, DEADLINE, in March 2026.
