Realme has launched a new smartphone in China, the Realme V13 5G. This phone made its debut alongside the Realme GT Neo. The handset is an affordable 5G phone with a set of specifications that you’d expect from a mid-range smartphone.
The Realme V13 5G features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch refresh-rate, a maximum sustained brightness of 480 nits, and a peak brightness of 600 nits. It has a punch-hole mounted to the top-left corner. The company has not revealed what kind of display protection does it offer for the Realme V13 5G.
The Realme V13 5G runs on Android 11 operating system with Realme UI 2.0 customization. The smartphone has the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. This chipset is built on a 7nm fabrication process. The chipset is paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. There are two configurations to choose from, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB.
As for the cameras, the Realme V13 5G has a triple-camera setup at the rear with a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, you get an 8MP camera. Sadly, the phone cannot record 4K videos with any of its cameras, a feature that most mid-range smartphones nowadays.
The Realme V13 5G measures 162.5 x 74.8 x 8.5 mm and weighs 185 grams. It is packs a 5,000mAh unit supporting 18W fast charging. Connectivity options include dual-SIM, dual-5G, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
In terms pf pricing, the Realme V13 5G price is set at CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs 17,800) for the base variant which has 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. There is also an 8GB+256GB variant which costs CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs 19,900). The smartphone is available in two color options, black and blue.
