In response to the news, the actor's agency, THEBLACKLABEL, confirmed the news. "Kwak Dong Yeon will enlist for active duty on August 25, 2026 and will faithfully fulfill his military obligations," said the agency THEBLACKLABEL as reported by Soompi.
Therefore, Kwak Dong Yeon will not be participating in the new season of the variety show The Village Barber which is scheduled to begin filming at the end of August 2026.
