Vivo has introduced the T1 edition of its Y52s smartphone in the home market. The standard Vivo Y52s was launched in December 2020. The only difference that the brand has made in its standard Y52s and T1 edition is in terms of processor.
The chipset that you will get here is Snapdragon 4 series with 5G support and the key specs of the smartphone include 90Hz refresh rate, a bigger battery, and the device will boot on Android 11.
The display panel on Vivo Y52s T1-edition is 6.58” in size and Vivo is offering a high refresh rate of 90Hz. The panel will produce FHD+ resolution and will also come with HDR10 support.
The screen calibration used on this smartphone is DCI-P3. On the rear, Vivo is offering a gradient design with a rectangular camera setup. Vivo has also integrated a fingerprint scanner with the power button.
In terms of cameras, Vivo is offering an 8-megapixel selfie camera housed in the water drop notch. On the rear, the primary camera that users will get is a 48-megapixel sensor along with a 2MP depth camera.
Vivo Y52s T1-edition sports Snapdragon 480 SoC whereas on the standard Y52s, the chipset offered by the brand was Dimensity 720. The T1-edition has 8 gigs of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
The battery capacity is 5,000 mAh with fast charging support of up to 18W. Other connectivity features are 5G support, dual 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a 3.5mm jack.
As for the pricing and availability, the Vivo Y52s T1-edition is available in multiple color options, Coral Sea, Monet, and Titanium Grey. It is priced at RMB 1,999 (~₹22,290) and customers can buy it from JD.com in China.
