Vivo unveiled a new 5G smartphone in European market dubbed as Vivo Y52 5G. The latest Vivo smartphone shares its design and some key specifications with the Vivo Y72 5G that was announced in Thailand earlier this year.
Vivo Y52 5G comes with a 6.58-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display that offers 1080 X 2408 pixel resolution, an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.6 percent.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB of native storage that is expandable via microSD card.
In terms of optics, the rear side of the phone is a place for triple camera setup with a combination of a 48-megapixel, a 2-megapixel macro shooter and a 2-megapixel bokeh lens. There is a 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
It boots Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11.1 skin. The handset gets juice from a 5000mAh battery that support an 18W fast charging. The smartphone features a side-facing fingerprint reader, and supports Face Unlock as well.
Connectivity options on the smartphone include a 5G, dual-SIM 4G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.1, Type-C port, GPS + GLONASS and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It will be available in Graphite Black and Dream Glow colour options.
In terms of pricing and availability, Unfortunately, the compnay is yet to reveal the pricing and availability detials of the phone. The smartphone launched in sole 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.
