The highly anticipated cooking drama "Final Table" is about to premiere, showcasing the intriguing rivalry between Ahn Hyo Seop and Chang Ryul. In the drama, they will compete in a cooking competition titled "The Table: K-Chef 2026," which promises to be a highly challenging competition to determine the best Korean chef.

Kang Han, played by Ahn Hyo Seop, is the head chef at Familia restaurant. He is known as a genius chef who has mastered various cuisines from around the world thanks to his extraordinary aesthetic abilities and talent for learning. 

With a free-spirited personality, Kang Han frequently moves around every year, so his cooking isn't tied to a specific style, but instead reflects unique characteristics that combine culinary techniques from various countries.

Meanwhile, Cha Woo Jin, played by Chang Ryul, was raised as a culinary prodigy with the support of the Pyungyeon Group. After graduating from a renowned culinary school, he was immediately appointed head chef at Exception, one of the country's finest restaurants. 

Cha Woo Jin is known as a meticulous perfectionist, so his dishes are intricate yet maintain a strict formality. Despite their very different personalities and styles, these two chefs share a strong passion for cooking and a keen eye for detail. 

They also have a history of rivalry in previous international cooking competitions, where Kang Han placed first and Cha Woo Jin placed second. This past rivalry only heightens curiosity about how they will fare in this competition.

With their rivalry taking center stage, the two chefs will showcase innovative dishes that reflect their respective identities, offering their interpretations of the same theme. "Final Table" is scheduled to premiere on October 24, 2026, at 10:40 p.m. KST.
