Vivo Y21 smartphone was revealed in Indian market as the new budget smartphone from the Chinese tech giant. For those who don’t know Vivo Y series is dedicated to affordable smartphone buyers. This handset also comes with good mid-range specifications and decent pricing.
Vivo Y21 features a 6.51 inches Halo FullView LCD display with an HD+ ( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It is accompanied by 4Gb RAM with 1GB Virtual RAM support and up to 128GB of internal storage with a MicroSD card slot for extra storage.
In terms of camera department, the Vivo Y21 boasts a dual rear camera that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, the phone sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the waterdrop notch. The smartphone is running on Android 11 OS with FunTouch OS 11.1 on top. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 164.26 x 76.08 x 8mm and weighs 182 grams.
The Vivo Y21 comes equipped with a 5000mah battery and supports 18W fast charging. For connectivity, the phone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Additionally, the smartphone flaunts a dual gradient design and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which the company claims can unlock the phone in just 0.22s.
As for the pricing and availability, the Vivo Y21 comes in two storage configurations including 4GB + 64GB priced at Rs. 13,990 and 4GB + 128GB for Rs. 15,490 and the company offered the smartphone in two color options namely Midnight Blue and Diamond Glow.
