Oppo A54s was revealed in Italy as the new budget smartphone in the Oppo A series which is a budget-centric series. The company revealed the Oppo A54 back in April and announced its 5G variant a few months later. The handset comes with a waterdrop notch display, MediaTek entry-level octa-core chipset, triple rear camera, a 5000mah battery, and more.
Oppo A54s features a 6.52 inches IPS LCD display with an HD+ ( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution, 88.7 percent screen-to-body ratio, 480nits brightness, and 269ppi pixel density. . In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 163.8 x 75.6 x 8.4mm and weighs 190 grams. The handset is running on Android 11 with Color OS 11.1 on top.
Under the hood, the Oppo A54s is packed with a MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. As for the storage, It is accompanied by 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot up to 256GB.
The Oppo A54s boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel with f/2.4 aperture depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, the phone sports an 8-megapixel under the waterdrop notch. The handset comes equipped with a 5000mah battery and supports 10W charging.
For connectivity, the Oppo A54s includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard, the Oppo A54s sports a Geomagnetic sensor, Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Gravity sensor, Step counting function, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
As for the pricing and availability, the Oppo A54s comes in a solo configuration of 4GB + 128GB priced at 229.99 euro ( Rs. 20,000 approx ) and the company offered the smartphone in two color options namely Pearl Blue and Crystal Black. It is available for purchase on Amazon Italy website.
