Singer and actor Im Siwan has been required to undergo another test for COVID-19 recently. October 13, Plum Entertainment, which is Im Siwan's agency, released a report stating that one tenant in Im Siwan's apartment building had unfortunately tested positive for COVID-19. Due to this, the actor needs to be tested as well.
Though he didn't have close contact with the said tenant, Im Siwan still needed to be examined as a safety precaution. This test was actually Im Siwan's second test for the COVID-19. It was previously reported last September 27th by JTBC that a member of their production staff in their upcoming drama "Run On" was confirmed to be positive with the virus.
As soon as the staff was confirmed to be positive, the production immediately halted filming. All of the actors and staff in close contact with the confirmed patient underwent tests and were also quarantined. The said actors included include Im Siwan and Shin Se Kyung.
The day after on September 28, the result went out and a source from the drama's production released a statement informing everyone that Actors Im Siwan, Shin Se Kyung, and Lee Bong Ryun as well as their staff members have fortunately tested negative for the virus.
However, even though the results came back negative, there will be changes regarding the filming schedule most especially now that Im Siwan got tested for COVID for the second time around. As of the moment, Im Siwan is having his break in his home waiting for his results to come out.
