Motorola Edge S30 was revealed along with Moto Edge X30 in China as another flagship smartphone. Although, The Edge X30 is the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen1 powered smartphone equipped with a 60MP selfie, 50MP triple rear camera, and more. The handset comes with fast refresh rate punch-hole display, Snapdragon 888 plus chipset, triple rear camera, large battery, fast charging, and more.
Motorola Edge S30 features a 6.8 inches LCD display with a Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2460 pixels ) resolution, 144Hz fast refresh rate, 576Hz touch sampling rate, HDR support, and SGS eye protection certification. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a Snapdragon 888+ octa-core chipset that comes couple with Adreno 660 GPU. It is accompanied by 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The Motorola Edge S30 boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 100-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor with 120-degree Field oF View, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top center. The camera is also integrated with the Motorola camera AI algorithm as well. The device is running on Android 11 OS out of the box.
The Motorola Edge S30 is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 33W fast charging. For connectivity, the smartphone includes Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 168.07 x 75.53 x 8.89mm and weighs 202 grams. Sensors onboard, the Motorola Edge S30 sports a Gravity sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gyro, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Motorola Edge S30 comes in four configurations:- 6GB + 128GB priced at 1,999 yuan ( Rs. 23,700 approx ), 8GB + 128GB priced at 2,199 yuan ( Rs. 26,100 approx , 8GB + 256GB priced at 2,399 yuan ( Rs. 28,500 approx ) and 12GB + 256GB priced at 2,599 yuan ( Rs. 30,900 approx). The smartphone comes in two color options namely Phantom Black, and Glacier Blue. The device is currently available for pre-orders on Lenovo online store and will go for sale from December 21 in China.
