Samsung Galaxy Tab A8  was revealed as the new tablet under the affordable Samsung’s tablet A series. It is the successor to the Galaxy Tab A7 which was announced back in September 2020 with Snapdragon 662 chipset. The new tablet comes with a Unisoc chipset, a big LCD display, a large battery, and more.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 features a 10.5 inches LCD display with Full-HD+ ( 1200 x 1920 pixels ) resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the tablet is powered with a Unisoc Tiger T618 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Mali G52 MP2 GPU. It is accompanied by up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of onboard storage. 

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera and sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The device is running on Android 11 OS with OneUI 3.1 on top. For connectivity, the tablet includes Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5, USB 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is packed with a 7,040mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging and ships with a 7.5W charger in the box.  In terms of dimensions, the new tablet measures It also supports split-screen multitasking, floating windows, and comes with quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

As for the official pricing and availability, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 tablet comes at a starting price of 230 euros in the Netherland. The tablet will be available in Europe by the end of this month while it will be available in the U.S and other regions in January next year 2022.
