It tells the story of a man named Yoo Il Han who lives in a difficult economic situation. In the midst of his financially strapped life, he received news of his father's death. Yoo Il Han never knew his father at all.

H.SOLID's management clarified the news on Friday (August 14, 2026). "That was one of the dramas that was offered to him," they said in a brief statement, as reported by Star News.
Currency Reform is reportedly set to air on SBS. If all goes according to plan and Heo Nam Jun accepts the offer, he will return to SBS after My Royal Nemesis.
Heo Nam Jun is currently filming the Korean drama "Whale Star: The Gyeongseong Mermaid." He is also scheduled to appear in IU's new music video for her comeback album release.
