Vivo India has announced a new mid-range 4G smartphone for the Indian market, called Vivo Y53s which key features are 6.58-inch full-HD+ display, MediaTek’s Helio G80 SoC, runs on Android 11 OS operating system, a 5,000mAh battery with supports fast charging, and a 64MP triple rear camera. The Vivo Y53s features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels. It comes with a 60Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC along with Mali G52 GPU. The Android 11 based FunTouch OS 11.1 is pre-installed on the device. It offers 3GB RAM + 3GB extended RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It has a three-card slot for up to 1TB of external storage.

Vivo Y53s comes with a triple camera setup on the rear featuring a 64MP primary camera with an f/179 lens, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP bokeh sensor. For selfies and video callings, the smartphone provides a 16MP sensor embedded into the waterdrop notch on the display. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 164.75 x 75.46 x 8.38mm and weighs around 190 grams. 

The Vivo Y53s is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The company integrates a fingerprint sensor with the power button on the right side which means users can turn on the display and unlock the phone at the same time.

As for the pricing and availability, Vivo Y53s price in India is set at Rs. 19,490 for the lone 8GB RAM with a 128GB internal storage model. The smartphone will be available for purchase via Vivo India Website, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Tatacliq, Bajaj EMI Store, and Croma. It brings two color options, i.e. Deep Sea Blue, and Fantastic Rainbow.
