Boult Audio AirBass Y1 was revealed in India as the new True Wireless offering from the Indian smart wearables manufacturer. The wireless earbuds come with touch controls, water resistance, long battery life, voice assistant support, and more. Last month the company announced the Propods X under the Airbass lineup as the new TWS earbud.
Launched on January 13th, the new Boult Audio Airbass Y1 true wireless earbuds features an angled bud with extra-soft silicone tips for added comfort during long use. The driver size of the earbuds has not been specified by the company. The AirBass Y1 uses Bluetooth 5.1 for up to 10 meters of connectivity range.
The Boult Audio AirBass Y1 offer 40 hours of playback time when coupled with its charging case and support fast charging functionality that offers 100 minutes of playback after a 10-minute charge. The earbuds can also be used individually in ‘monopod’ mode. Coming to other features of the Boult Audio Airbass Y1, it offers touch controls for media playback and taking calls.
The Boult Audio Airbass Y1 true wireless earbuds comes with IPX 5 certification making it sweat and water-resistant, which is an ideal feature for workout and fitness enthusiasts. The device also offers voice assistant support like Google Assistant and Siri, which the user can access with a triple-tap gesture using the touch controls.
As for pricing and availability, The Boult Audio AirBass Y1 comes in Black and White color variants. The wireless earbuds is currently available for an introductory price of Rs. 1299 on Indian e-commerce platform website Flipkart. The price of the earbuds will increase after the introductory period ends. It is offered in black and white color options.
