Guru Randhawa’s (Co Founder) DEFY brand has entered into wearable segment in India with its latest smartwatch called DEFY Space. It comes in Black and Blue color options. The DEFY Space price in India is INR 1699 and will go on sale via e-commerce platform Flipkart from January 15th. It comes with 1-year warranty period.
The DEFY Space feature a large 1.69-inch (42mm) touch display offering 240 x 280 pixels resolution. It comes with multiple watch faces and allows one to download more using DEFY Space app. The wearable provides complete protection against dust, sweat and accidental splashes thanks to its IP68 rating. It offers leek look and comes silicone straps. In terms of dimensions, the device weighs just 73.8 grams.
The DEFY Space uses Bluetooth V5.0 for connectivity with smartphones. It has operating range of up to 10 meters. Once connected with mobile phone, the Space can show notifications about texts, emails or calls instantly. It also gives out sedentary alerts. For further mobile-free experience, the DEFY Space allows users to play / pause / stop / navigate tracks with music control function.
The DEFY Space has Hear Rate sensor that can monitor 24Hr heart beats. It is paired with SpO2 monitoring to check blood oxygen levels. The watch syncs with DEFY Space App and collects this date to keep tabs on daily health. Basic functions like calorie counter, step counter and sleep monitoring is present. It can also be used to control camera with a single tap.
Moreover, there are multiple Active sports modes for activities like running, cycling, walking, climbing, skipping, yoga, basketball, football, badminton and swimming. The smartwatch has Do Not Disturb mode that shush out notifications (except alarm) during meditation. Guided breathing feature is present for stress management.
