Oppo A72 5G smartphone finally launched in China with the latest Dimensity 720 SoC, 90Hz Display, and 4040 mah battery. The handset is available in three color variants called Neon, Violet, and Black. It features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ resolution display. The device is currently up for pre-order on the official Oppo China website.

Oppo A72 5G comes with a 6.5-inch full-HD+ resolution (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with 90Hz refresh rate and 90.5 percent screen to body ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC with ARM Mali-G75 MC3 GPU that supports 5G and paired up to 8GB of RAM. As for OS software, the handset runs on Andiod 10 based on Color OS 7.2 out of the box. 

In terms of cameras, the Oppo A72 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 16-megapixel (primary) sensor, an 8-megapixel (ultrawide) sensor, and a 2-megapixel black and white camera. On Front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with punch hole-punch deign. The smartphone packs with 4040 mah battery and support for 18W fast charging.

For connectivity options, the Oppo A72 5G supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The sensor on the smartphone also includes a magnetic induction sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gyro-meter, and accelerometer. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 7.9mm thick and weigh 175 grams.

As for official pricing and availability, the Oppo A72 5G comes in a single 8GB RAM and 128GB variant that is priced at CNY 1,899 (around Rs. 20,200).
