NCT's Doyoung has shown his concern for mental health issues by donating 100 million won to support suicide prevention, particularly for at-risk soldiers and children and adolescents who have lost family members to suicide.

The announcement was made by the Korea Foundation for Suicide Prevention on May 29, 2026. Doyoung revealed, "One of the things I often tell fans is, 'Tomorrow will definitely be happier than today.'

Although there are times when one day feels really heavy and difficult, I believe that in the end, tomorrow will lead us in a warmer and happier direction than today." He continued, "I hope this donation will convey that I support you, and I hope it will give everyone the strength to find courage."

Jung Yoon Soon, chairman of the Korea Foundation for Suicide Prevention, added, "Supporting soldiers' mental health and helping children and adolescents who have lost family members to suicide are key tasks in preventing suicide and creating a safety net in our society.

Doyoung's sincere and empathetic contribution will be a valuable lifeline to those on the brink of despair." Doyoung can also currently be seen in his latest drama entitled 'Dear X Who Doesn't Love Me' which is available on Viki.
