Realme V15 5G has been launched with Mediatek Dimensity 800U SoC and 64-Megapixel Quad rear camera setup in China. After introducing realme V5 last year, The Chinese tech company added one more device in its Realme V series. Realme V15 runs on realme UI on top of Android 11 out of the box and comes in three color variants – silver, blue, and a gradient color finish.
Realme V15 features a 6.4-inches Super AMOLED FHD+ display with up to 600 nits of peak brightness, a 180Hz touch sampling rate and hole-punch design on the top left corner for the front-facing camera. Under the hood, The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC, Mali-G57 MC3 GPU, and paired with up to 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. Further, The device measures 8.1mm and weighs about 176 grams.
In terms of camera, the Realme V15 5G is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-Megapixel (primary) camera + 8-Megapixel (wide-angle) lens + 2-Megapixel (macro) lens. For selfies and videos, there is a 16 Megapixel front facing shooter. The camera feature includes 4K video recording, UIS Max (ultra image stabilization), and 1080p slow-motion videos at 120fps.
The Realme V15 5G packs a 4,310mAh battery and offers 50W fast charging which can charge up to 50 percent in just 18 minutes. In terms of connectivity, The smartphone supports dual nano sim, 5G, 4G, Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C. The onboard sensors include an accelerometer, in-display fingerprint sensor, proximity detection, gyroscope, compass, hall sensor, and brightness sensor.
The base variant of Realme V15 5G priced at CNY 1,499 (around Rs.17,000) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage, but the variant will be available for purchase at an introductory price of CNY 1,399 (approx Rs 15,800). The high-end variant of 8GB + 128GB storage carries a price tag of CNY 1,999 (around Rs.22,600). The smartphone will go on sale in China from January 14th.
