Tecno has introduced a new smartphone in the Camon series, called as the Tecno Camon 18 in India. The new smartphone from Tecno arrives with a 6.8-inch Full HD+ display. The device features a 48MP triple-camera setup and a 48MP selfie camera. Under the hood, the Camon 18 is powered by an octa-core Helio G85 processor. The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery that has 18W fast charging support.
The Tecno Camon 18 features a 6.8-inch display that has Full HD+ resolution. The display has a 396 PPI pixel density, maximum brightness of 500 nits, and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an MediaTek’s octa-core Helio G85 SoC chipset processor. The handset packs 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
On the rear side, the Tecno Camon 18 sports a triple-camera setup. The camera module includes a 48MP main sensor, a 2MP depth camera, and an AI lens. The rear-facing camera has features such as slow-motion, night video mode, video bokeh, and 2K video recording. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
The Tecno Camon 18 boots Android 11 out of the box with HiOS 8 on top. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and has face unlock support. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 168.9 x 76.7 x 8.8 mm. Connectivity-wise, the handset has features like dual-SIM card support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port.
As for the official pricing and availability, the Tecno Camon 18 is priced at ₹14,999 in India. The smartphone comes in a sole 4GB + 128GB RAM storage configuration. The smartphone can be purchased in dusk grey and iris purple colour variants from December 27 via retail and online channels.
