American smartphone maker BLU has officially announced the all-new BLU G51s in the global market. The handset offers specs like the UNISOC processor, HD+ display, and a 4,000mAh battery in the budget segment. It is currently listed on the official website. Unfortunately, the pricing and sale details are unknown, at the moment.

The BLU G51s has a 6.4-inch punch-hole display with an HD+ resolution. BLU calls it an Infinity Dot Display that has a 268 PPI pixel density. The smartphone has 2.5D curved glass and it is claimed to offer a realistic image viewing experience. Following are its measurements – 162.4mm x 77.5mm x 9mm. It weighs 185 grams.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the BLU G51s sports an 8MP snapper and dual rear cameras for selfies and video calls, the rear setup on the smartphone goes by dual 13MP sensors and has an LED flash. The rear camera is capable of capturing videos at 1080p at 30fps.

The smartphone runs on Android 11 Go Edition out of the box and has a USB Type-C port for charging.  Under the hood, the device is powered by the UNISOC SC9863 octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz. It is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. BLU has provided a microSD card slot for additional storage up to 64GB.

The BLU G51s packs a 4,000mAh battery. Since it is an entry-level phone it doesn’t have any sort of fast charging support. As for security, it has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Bluetooth v4.2 and Wi-Fi are some of its connectivity options. The smartphone comes in three color variants – Bronze, Olive Green, Red, and Gradient Blue colors.
