Tecno Pop 5S has been launched by the Chinese tech company in Mexico as the latest addition to its affordable Pop device lineup. It features a quad core processor, dual rear cameras, and a 3,020mAh battery. Pricing for the smartphone is yet to be revealed, and Tecno has not yet announced plans to bring the smartphone to other regions, including India.
The Tecno Pop 5S comes with a 5.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1520 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a quad core processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM. At the heart, the handset runs Android 10 (Go edition) OS out of the box and is powered by a 3020mAh non-removable battery.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Tecno Pop 5S on the rear packs a dual camera setup featuring a 5-megapixel primary camera, and a 0.08-megapixel camera. The smartphone has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 2-megapixel sensor. The handset supports face unlock.
On the front software, the Tecno Pop 5S is based on Android 10 (Go edition) and packs 32GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone is a dual-SIM mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 148.00 x 72.30 x 9.90mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 160.00 grams. It bears a polycarbonate body.
Connectivity options on the Tecno Pop 5S include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Micro-USB, GPS, FM radio, 3G, and 4G with active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the device include accelerometer, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The smartphone was launched in Deep Blue and Light Purple colours.
