Vivo's sub-brand, iQOO has introduced its latest mid-range device, called the Z6 5G, in India. It starts at Rs. 15,499 for the 4GB/128GB model and goes up to Rs. 17,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant. It will be up for grabs via Amazon from March 22. Buyers can avail a discount of Rs. 2,000 with HDFC Bank cards along with an exchange bonus of up to Rs. 1,500.
With India's 5G segment undergoing a boom, Chinese mobile makers are in a hurry to make their mark. After its flagship 9 series, iQOO is now back in India with a budget-range 5G device, the Z6 5G. Indians have always had a soft spot for feature-packed yet affordable handsets and iQOO is certainly trying to tap into the sentiment with this smartphone.
The iQOO Z6 5G sports a 6.58-inch Full-HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone features a waterdrop notch design with a noticeable bottom bezel and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it has a rectangular camera unit.
In the camera department, the iQOO Z6 5G flaunts a triple rear camera arrangement, including a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP bokeh lens. Up front, it has a 16MP selfie snapper. The smartphone houses a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support.
Under the hood, the iQOO Z6 5G is fueled by a Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. At the heart, it boots Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box. The device also has a 5-layer liquid cooling system for an enhanced gaming experience.
For pricing and availability, the iQOO Z6 5G is priced at Rs. 15,499 for the 4GB/128GB variant and carries a price-tag of Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB/128GB model. The 8GB/128GB model costs Rs. 17,999. The smartphone is available in Dynamo Black and Chromatic Blue color options. It will be available for purchase from March 22 via e-commerce platform website Amazon.
