BTS is still on their Arirang tour. This week, they will perform in Peru as one of the countries on the South American leg. Despite being excited about the concert at the Estadio San Marcos, RM felt uncomfortable.

Many fans were staying in front of the hotel where BTS was staying during their stay in Peru. RM expressed his concerns via Weverse, stating that he felt uncomfortable because the noise could disturb not only the BTS members and BIGHIT MUSIC/HYBE staff, but also other guests at the hotel.

"It's noisy even inside the room, so everyone can't sleep well. It can also cause discomfort for other hotel guests," RM commented in his post. He admitted that the same thing happened in his previous city, Bogotá, Colombia.

A large crowd was waiting in front of the hotel, overwhelming security personnel. The SWIM singer emphasized that he appreciates the public's appreciation and welcome for BTS's visit and first concert in Peru. However, they also need to rest in peace.

"If we don't sleep well, it will affect our performance in front of you (on stage). So, please, not only in Lima (Peru) but also in Chile, Brazil, and Argentina, as well as other Asian countries we will visit later, please don't wait in front of the hotel," he stressed.

BTS will hold the Arirang concert in Lima, Peru, for three days on October 7, 9, and 10, 2026. Estadio San Marcos was chosen as the venue for the BIGHIT MUSIC group's biggest world tour concert. BTS's three-day concert in Lima, Peru, is already sold out.

Given the capacity of the Estadio San Marcos, a single Arirang show could attract 40,000 to 54,000 people. This Arirang world tour will be BTS's first performance in Peru, so it's no wonder the reception has been so enthusiastic.

BTS previously performed in Bogotá, Colombia, for two days last weekend. The South American leg will continue to Chile, Argentina, and Brazil. The city of Lima welcomed BTS with great fanfare. The city government prepared numerous celebrations.

Calle Sacramento Street in Lima's Surco district will be temporarily renamed Avenida BTS (BTS Street). This change will last a full week, from Monday (October 5, 2026) to Sunday (October 11, 2026).

As reported by the Korea JoongAng Daily on Wednesday (October 7, 2026), in the same area, the Arco Morisco gate at Friendship Park will also be illuminated purple. In addition, a light show dedicated to BTS will be held for seven days.

It doesn't stop there, folks. The Fantasia Fountain at the Magic Water Circuit in Lima's Natural Reserve Park will also be hosting a special BTS event. Music, light displays, and water shows will be featured throughout the week.
