Korean actor Song Kang received an unexpected apology from Thai actor Tay Tawan. The two recently met as guests at the LOEWE fashion show during Paris Fashion Week 2026.
On Friday (October 2, 2026), Song Kang and Tay Tawan represented LOEWE from their respective countries in Paris. The internet was immediately abuzz with the sight of the two renowned actors sitting side by side in the front row.
As seen from the upload on Mint Magazine Thailand's official X account, Song Kang and Tay Tawan spread their smiles and charm in front of the media crew. The photo, shared via the X account @mintmag_th, apparently worried Tay Tawan.
He realized his sitting position was the opposite of Song Kang's. The star of the Thai series Scarlet Heart sat with his legs spread wide, while Song Kang, sitting right next to him, had his legs together and hunched in.
After seeing the tweet from the X account @mintmag_th, Tay Tawan immediately apologized to Song Kang with a quote tweet. His humorous message to Song Kang immediately went viral, garnering over 46,000 retweets and 70,000 likes.
"Sorry, Song Kang. I took up too much space before I realized it. Next time, you can kick my leg," Tay Tawan wrote. Many fans were amused by Tay Tawan's message. Meanwhile, many praised Song Kang for maintaining a smile without showing any discomfort.
"I really laughed out loud, it seems like Song Kang is embarrassed to reprimand me," commented a netizen on TikTok. "Song, bro, it looks like you're in a public transport bus," said a netizen.
"The problem is when an introvert meets an extra extrovert, it just ends up smiling," wrote another netizen, highlighting Song Kang, who is known to be an introvert.
Meanwhile, Song Kang made his comeback this year with the Korean drama "Four Hands, Two Sonatas" alongside Lee Jun Young. The final episode just concluded on Sunday (October 4, 2026).
This music-themed drama showcases Song Kang's transformation into a genius pianist named Kang Pio. Viewers of Four Hands Two Sonatas are invited to follow his friendship, love story, and rivalry with Lee Jun Young.
