Redmi 10 was launched in India on Thursday (March 17). As for the key highlights, the new Redmi smartphone comes with a 60 Hz refresh rate 6.70-inch touchscreen display, dual rear cameras and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC. As of 17th March 2022, Redmi 10 price in India starts at Rs. 10,999.

The Redmi 10 bears a 60 Hz refresh rate 6.70-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 720x1648 pixels (HD+). The display sports Gorilla Glass for protection. Under the hood, the handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM. At the heart, the smartphone runs Android 11 OS and is powered by a 6000mAh battery. The device supports proprietary fast charging.

In terms of optics, the Redmi 10 on the rear packs a dual camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera, and a 2-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a pixel size of 1.12-micron.

On the front software, the Redmi 10 runs MIUI 13 is based on Android 11 and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card with a dedicated slot. The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 169.59 x 76.56 x 9.13mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 203.00 grams.

Connectivity options on the Redmi 10 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks). Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The Redmi 10 supports face unlock. It was launched in Caribbean Green, Midnight Black, and Pacific Blue colours.
