Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy M33 5G smartphone in India. The South Korean tech company has now started teasing the phone through Amazon, indicating an imminent arrival. Although the teaser doesn't reveal much except for "The all-new Galaxy M, Coming soon," its source code has confirmed that the phone in question is M33 5G. To recall, it was introduced globally earlier this month.

With the addition of the Galaxy M33 5G, Samsung will be hoping to add more firepower to its mid-range arsenal in India. The success of the device, however, will be determined by its pricing, considering the number of 5G smartphones that have flooded the market. We can expect the M33 5G in India as early as next week since the teaser is already out.

The Samsung Galaxy M33 5G bears a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2408 pixels) TFT display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone features a waterdrop notch design, a prominent bottom bezel, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it has a square-like camera unit.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G is powered by an unspecified octa-core 2.4GHz chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. At the heart, it boots Android 12-based One UI 4.1 out of the box. For connectivity options, the smartphone offers support for 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a Type-C port.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G is equipped with a quad rear camera setup, including a 50MP (f/1.8) main shooter, a 5MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, a 2MP (f/2.2) macro sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.2) depth snapper. Up front, it sports an 8MP (f/2.2) selfie camera. The smartphone houses a 6,000mAh battery with fast-charging support.

The official pricing and availability details of the Galaxy M33 5G in India will be announced at the time of its launch in the coming days. For reference, in Germany, it is priced at €349 (roughly Rs. 29,200) for the 6GB/128GB model. The smartphone is offered in Green, Blue, and Brown color options.
