Realme is gearing up to launch a new 9 series device, called the 9 4G, in India. In the latest development, the Chinese tech company has confirmed that the handset will be introduced at a launch event on April 7. The same event will see the introduction of other products such as Realme GT 2 Pro, smart TV stick and Buds Air 3 TWS.

Since launching the 9i in January, Realme has so far introduced five 9-series smartphones in India. If you assumed that the company stopped there, you couldn't be more wrong. With the 9 4G slated to debut on April 7, it seems that the company is not yet ready to bid farewell to the 9-series. But who knows, this may be the last one.

The Realme 9 4G is expected to bear a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will feature a punch-hole design with slim bezels and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it will sport a triple camera unit with an LED flash.

In terms of optics, the Realme 9 4G will be equipped with a triple rear camera arrangement, comprising a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM6 primary shooter and two unspecified sensors. It will have 9x focusing accuracy. Up front, the smartphone will sport a 16MP selfie snapper. The handset will house a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.

Under the hood, the Realme 9 4G is said to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. At the heart, it may boot Android 11-based Realme UI out of the box. For connectivity, the smartphone will offer support for 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a Type-C port.

The official pricing and availability details of the Realme 9 4G will be announced by the Chinese tech company at the time of its launch on April 7. However, we expect it to be priced under Rs. 15,000. The smartphone is likely to be offered in Sunburst Gold, Meteor Black, and Stargaze White color options.
