Realme, at its GT2 Pro smartphone launch event, introduced the Realme Book Prime laptop in the Indian market. This comes a couple of months after it was first unveiled at the MWC 2022 (Mobile World Congress) for the global markets earlier this year 2021. The Realme Book Prime boasts of a premium aluminium build, 2K resolution display, Intel’s 11th Generation processor, long battery life, and more.

The Realme Book Prime comes with an aluminium chassis and dual-fan VC liquid cooling tech, which should keep its temperatures in check. It falls in the thin and light category of laptops with just 14.9mm thickness. The notebook sports a 14-inch 2K Full Vision IPS display. There are minimal bezels surrounding the screen. Connectivity features on the handset include a Thunderbolt 4 port, Bluetooth v5.1, and Wi-Fi 6.

Under the hood, the Realme Book Prime is powered by Intel’s 11th Generation Core i5-11320H processor coupled with integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics. That’s a bummer as it doesn’t get the latest 12th Generation Alder Lake CPUs. The laptop runs on Windows 11 OS out of the box. The notebook is equipped with 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD storage. India doesn’t get the 8GB RAM variant, which is available globally.

The Realme Book Prime gets a couple of nifty features such as a backlit keyboard, a large trackpad, and stereo speakers with DTS audio. The dual-fan VC liquid cooling technology is reported to offer 50 percent improved heat dissipation. The notebook comes with 65-watt fast charging support via USB Type-C. The Realme Book Prime will supposedly deliver up to 12 hours of battery backup on a single charge.

For official pricing and availability, the Realme Book Prime laptop comes with a price tag of ₹64,999 in India. It comes in a sole 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. You can get it at an introductory price of ₹57,999. HDFC cardholders will get an additional 3,000 discount. The laptop will go on sale on April 13, 2022, and will be available for purchase via Flipkart, and Realme’s website.
