Honor has been launched a new entry-level smartphone in China, called Honor Play 30 which comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ chipset with Adreno 619 GPU and 5G connectivity. The other notable features on the device are a 6.5-inch TFT display, up to 8GB of RAM, and a massive 5,000mAh battery.
The Honor Play 30 has offered a 6.5-inch HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) display with LCD penal. Coming to the processor, the handset has arrived with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ chipset with Adreno 619 GPU. The smartphone is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Users can also expand its RAM by up to 2GB. The device comes with a dual-SIM slot with 5G connectivity
In the camera department, the Honor Play 30 features a single camera on the back that comes with a 13MP sensor with an f/1.8 lens. On the front side, it has a 5MP front camera with an f/2.2 lens. In terms of storage, there’s 128GB of internal storage that is further expandable via a microSD card (up to 512GB). On the front software, it runs on Android 11 OS with MagicUI 5.0 out of the box.
The Honor Play 30 is powered by a 5,000 big battery that can charge through 10W charging. Speaking about design, it has a waterdrop style notch on the front penal and a curved- square camera module on the back. Onboard sensors are ambient light sensor, compass, gravity, and proximity sensor. The smartphone includes 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and Bluetooth v5.1 connectivity. Other notable features are a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port.
As for the official pricing and availability, Honor Play 30 smartphone is already listed for pre-registration in China, However, the Chinese tech company has not revealed its pricing details yet. The handset will be available in four color options, i.e. Black, Blue, Gold, and White.
