The Vivo X Fold comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate 8.03-inch touchscreen primary display offering a resolution of 1916x2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 21:9. It also features a 6.53-inch touchscreen as its second display, with a resolution of 1080x2520 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor that features 4 cores clocked at 1.8GHz, 3 cores clocked at 2.5GHz and 1 core clocked at 3GHz. It comes with 12GB of RAM. 

In terms of optics, the Vivo X Fold on the rear packs a quad camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel (f/1.75) primary camera; a 48-megapixel (f/2.2) camera; a 12-megapixel (f/1.98) camera, and an 8-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.45 aperture.

On the front software, the Vivo X Fold runs OriginOS is based on Android 12 out of the box and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone is powered by a 4600mAh battery. The device supports wireless charging, as well as proprietary fast charging. The handset is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The device measures 162.01 x 144.87 x 14.57mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 311.00 grams.

For connectivity options on the Vivo X Fold include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.20, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks) , and 5G. Sensors on the device include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The handset comes in Black, Blue colour options.
