BTS is about to start a new page in their career. After nine years of working as a group, they took a hiatus and started individual projects. The announcement was delivered directly by BTS through a video released at the peak of the 9th anniversary celebration. They openly share what's on their mind to their fans, as well as what they want to do in the second part of each member's career.

Apparently BTS's statement had a lot of influence on HYBE's stock. Reported by a number of South Korean media, HYBE has experienced a decline in shares of up to 25 percent since trading opened on June 15, 2022. The drop in shares showed the company's overall valuation fell by more than 2 trillion Won. However, the stock value is predicted to recover slowly.

Meanwhile, shortly after BTS announced their hiatus, Big Hit Music opened up about their decision. Management said BTS will continue to carry out group and individual activities at the same time. " BTS will start a new chapter in their career which will continue to carry out group and individual activities simultaneously," said a representative of Big Hit Music.

"This will be a time for the members to develop through various activities, and we hope this will encourage BTS to become a group that will last a long time. As a label, we will actively support this decision," he concluded. BTS will start a new chapter in his career by releasing a solo album and collaborating with a number of artists.

BTS' individual activities will be started by J-Hope and will be released sequentially. In addition, BTS will also continue the Run! BTS which is currently being discontinued. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook will also greet fans through appearances on a number of Korean music shows and performing the song Yet to Come this week.
