Vivo’s sub-brand iQoo has expanded its 9-series in the Indian market, the newly launched smartphone called iQoo 9T 5G. The series also has vanilla iQoo 9 SE, iQoo 9, and iQoo 9 Pro which was launched earlier this year 2022. The handset comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. Other key attraction features are a 120Hz E5 AMOLED display, 50MP ISOCELL GN5 main sensor on the backside and a 120W FlashCharge fast charging technology.
The iQoo 9T 5G sports a 120Hz full-HD+ E5 AMOLED display that screen size is 6.78-inch. The display features 1,500nits peak brightness, HDR10+, and 100 percent coverage of the P3 color gamut. It carries a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. Speaking about design, the device has a dual-tone design on the back penal with a carbon fiber finish while the front penal has a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the iQoo 9T 5G sports a triple camera setup on the rear that includes a 50MP ISOCELL GN5 primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization. The secondary sensor is a 13MP ultra-wide-angle while the third camera comes with a 12MP portrait lens. In terms of selfie camera, the smartphone has arrived with a 16MP front camera.
Under the hood, the iQoo 9T 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC along with Adreno 730 GPU. Talking about software, it boots Android 12-based FuntouchOS 12 out of the box. The handset also provides a liquid cooling vapor chamber which ensures more efficient heat conduction of the device. The device has provided up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 inbuilt storage. The dual-SIM supporting smartphone has 5G connectivity.
Furthermore, the company has offered a 4,700mAh battery on the iQoo 9T 5G that can be charged via a 120W FlashCharge fast charger. The company claims that the technology can charge the phone from 0 to 50 percent in just 8 minutes. It also gets an in-display fingerprint sensor. Other notable sensors are an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.
The iQoo 9T 5G price is set at Rs. 49,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage model. It also comes with 12GB RAM with 256GB storage model that carries a price tag of Rs. 59,999. The iQoo 9T 5G comes in two color options, i.e. Alpha and Legend. It is currently available for purchase via Amazon.in and the company’s own website. ICICI bank customers can avail an instant discount of Rs. 4,000.
